Can I search for free?
Yes. You can request a search directly from the Central Office without an intermediary. Its online form prepares the request. You must then print, sign and send it following the official instructions. This page does not submit it.
Does a match confirm a balance?
No. It identifies a possible relationship with an institution. That institution must establish rights and available amounts. The Central Office does not hold pension assets.
Can I transfer or withdraw freely?
Not automatically. The destination and options depend on your situation and applicable rules. Ask your current pension fund how to handle old assets. Departure from Switzerland, death or divorce require specific checks. A search authorises neither a transfer nor a cash withdrawal.
What fees does Piliavo propose?
Search would remain free. Optional assistance would cost 0.9% of the amount actually transferred, capped at 390 CHF per mandate. No fee is proposed without a completed billable transfer. This model is not commercialised; legal, tax and contractual validation remain necessary. Institution fees are excluded.
